Outdoor Education & School Adventure Programs
Chiang Mai Mountain Biking & Kayaks designs and operates complete outdoor education programs for international schools, from single-day field trips to multi-day camps, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions and custom adventure programs.
Since 2003, we have worked with school groups across Northern Thailand, combining kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, caving, camping and team challenges into programs built around safety, teamwork, leadership and meaningful time outdoors.
Our team can manage the entire program, including activity planning, equipment, instructors, transport, meals, accommodation and logistics, allowing schools to work with one experienced local operator from start to finish.

Locations
We operate throughout Northern Thailand and select locations according to season, water conditions, group ability and program objectives.
Regular venues include the Mae Ping, Mae Taeng, Mae Wang, Mae Chaem and Mae Kok river areas, as well as lakes, mountain trails and camping locations around Chiang Mai.
For suitable school programs, we can also discuss operations in other regions of Thailand.
Experience and Safety
Our instructors bring decades of experience in outdoor education, paddlesports and adventure program management.
Safety planning is built into every program, including route selection, equipment, instructor ratios, weather and water conditions, transport, emergency procedures and group ability.
Programs are adapted to the students rather than forcing every group into the same itinerary.

We are based in Chiang Mai and currently conduct events mainly on the Mae Ping River (north of Chiang Mai), the Mae Taeng River, Mae Chaem River, Mae Wang River, and Mae Kok River. We are also open to organizing events on the Pasak River (Khao Yai) and hold classes on various lakes within the Chiang Mai region.
